Hunter 27209, 3-Speed Fan / Light Dimming Remote

I replaced the old remotes in 3 hunter ceiling fans with this new model to make the fans CFL compatible. I had been using CFLs with the older remotes but also had to use at least one incandescent bulb in each fan to keep the CFLs from flickering. With the new remotes I can use all CFL bulbs without the flickering problem. It works great. Be sure to set the slide switch in the remote control battery compartment to CFL if you plan to use CFL bulbs. This switch disables the dimmer function in the remote since most CFL bulbs are not dimmable. I assume that if you use the more expensive dimmable CFL bulbs you can re-enable the dimmer feature. I haven't tried this so I can't say for sure that it would work.
