This review is from: 52" Casa Vieja Outdoor Mission™ Damp Listed Fan I found this fan easy to install, and we think it looks great in our sunroom. Because I was installing on a sloped ceiling, I had to head to Lowes to purchase a longer downrod. Because the fan comes setup for a 1/2" downrod, I also had to purchase a 3/4 to 1/2 conversion kit. This is all readily available. With the new downrod and converter, I had no problem setting up the fan to run off of two light switches, one for the light and one for the fan with the shared neutral. My only minor gripes are: 1. The two screws used to tighten the downrod into the fan housing. There should be three. If you tighten the two, the rod almost automatically wants to slant slighting coming out of the fan housing. I still need to rebalance things. 2. The blades are plastic. This is fine because I want it to last outdoors. However, they could have at least varied the appearance of the wood grain so that it doesn't LOOK so plastic/fake. 3.
