If the control has a beep, you can't turn it off. It's annoying. You can't turn the fan on/off if someone is sleeping. Very poor customer service on the telephone. I have one Casablanca I'm not happy with and 3 Monte Carlo that are great and much cheaper with no beep!

I was a little sceptical because of the price. We have a Casablanca that came with the house. I had it repaired once and the repair person offered me close to $750 for it broken. I declined to sale it. This one is worth the price. I installed it yesterday and on high speed it has no wobble at all. Of all the ceiling fans I've installed and purchased Casablanca is the only fans I've found that don't wobble (without having to balance it). My only problem has to be the light kit. You are stuck with 2 candelabra 60 watt bulbs they just don't seem to be bright enough for the room.
