From the picture it looks like this fan light is about six to ten inches across, a little bit bigger than a recessed ceiling canister, when in actuality its quite large and wide, bigger than a large hat box, and it is way more than 19 inches in length from the ceiling, with the 2" rod it hangs more like 30". The picture and description was completely inaccurate. I was looking for something modern, and interesting... but because of the size, this really looked dated and old, the very worst of sixties mod. I returned it... which has been an adventure in itself, minus the 15 % restocking fee and the shipping charges they plan to deduct from my refund, which I still have not received, along with the wild goose chase to get it sent back. I will be more careful next time, its my fault for buying a ceiling fan online.
