Installed this tonight along with the fan. Control works great! You can use it to turn on the fan light only, blade only, or both. Reverse as well. Easy install. Only problem is product just comes with two wire caps but you need 3 for the install since you are putting three wires from the device to three wires inside the box.

Beware - if you have more than one wall switch it may be challenging trying to find a plate cover. Lowe's has a build your own switch plate cover that you can configure any way you want.

We have a Craftmade fan in our baby' room. This remote control fits into the existing switch box in the room. If I had to criticize anything, the buttons are difficult to get used to when the room is dark. Our first unit was missing parts but a quick call to Craftmade, they had another one sent to our house in a couple days. Great service!!

I ordered the Craftmade TCS-WALL TCS Plus Wall Control for Craftmade Fans light switch to replace a 10 year old switch that had malfunctioned. I wasn't sure if this switch would work as a replacement of my old switch as the model numbers were different but after contacting Craftmade's Technical support they said that this switch would work--and it did!!

The switch shipped very quickly and is very economical from Amazon. The install was simple, just three wires to connect and took just 5 minutes.

The switch is well made, very durable and actually performs better than the old switch. I'm not sure if Craftmade increased the output strength of this wall switch but it turns on the light to my ceiling fan every time (as well as the fan).

The only possible drawback is that you may eventually have to replace an easy to find 12volt battery. My old switch didn't have a battery (but it also didn't always turn on the light/fan on the first try either). It...Read more
