Extremely easy to install. Only took about 10 minutes to do both ceiling fans in the living room. My fans were both old fans installed in the late 70's and the antique brass matches perfectly. No instructions came with it, but take down and install were pretty obvious how to do. Lights up the room pretty well too.

Perfect match for the ceiling fan I had with a cheesy outdoor light on it. This is perfect for the bedroom it is in.
