This thing stinks. Sure, it basically works, but is incompatible with the Emerson fan (Midway Eco) for which I bought it. It was supposed to be compatible. I had to go through a fairly complicated process to manually program it. Annoying. More annoying perhaps is that it has a weak signal and often you have to stand there mashing a button a dozen times before the fan will respond.
