Energy Efficient Frosted Glass Ceiling Fan Light Kit

The ballast is decent but not great, as there is a flicker on start up for 2-3 seconds. The light quality is decent and they don't consume a lot of watts. Bought three of these items and one of them also has a ballast hum during certain times. The domes are plastic not glass so the plus side is they wont shatter if you drop them - but glass domes tend to look a bit nicer. I would buy them again, because they were significantly less than the hunter version. Make sure you have some alternate lighting like a few spots or pendant lights around to keep the room from looking too dark, especially when entertaining.
