My husband has installed many ceiling fans over the years and we liked this little one for one of our tiny bedrooms. It was not the easiest thing to install, in fact putting the blades up was painful. You have to thread them up through a tiny hole with a screwdriver and my husband was on his last nerve by the end of this. The instructions that come with it are basic (are instructions for every fan they make) and just beware because it's a 60 watt clear candelabra bulb that comes with it. It's enough to light up the room but other than that you better have additional lighting available. It's also a little loud so I'm hoping that if I leave it running long enough that will work itself out. Put it this way, it's up now and I'm not taking it down but wished I would have got the Westinghouse 3 blade fan.

I really like this item, so much that I bought 4 of them for my townhouse. They are the perfect size for each room. I even put one in my kitchen.

I HAD TO WRITE THIS REVIEW AFTER READING THE NUMEROUS NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THIS WONDERFUL LITTLE FAN. I INSTALLED TWO OF THESE FANS 3 YEARS AGO AND THEY ARE PERFECT AND PROBLEM FREE. IN FACT, I BOUGHT A 'FANCY' FAN FOR MY LIVING ROOM TO THE TUNE OF $500 AND MY LITTLE WESTINGHOUSE'S PUMP OUT MUCH MORE AIR. I AGREE THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE WEAK AND THE BLADES ARE A TAD TEDIOUS TO INSTALL - BUT CERTAINLY NOT THAT BAD. I HAD A FEEBLE HANDYMAN INSTALL MINE AND HE HAD NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER.
