Comment: I bought 3 of this universal remote control and no one work correctly! What a waste of time and money! When you put the light on, after some seconds, they decreases all alone! Same comportment for the 3!!! I did test with different king of light but nothing to do! Now, I will try to be pay back.

Comment: It works perfectly. I use it as a second control for a single fan. Just set the dip switches to match the other fan control.

Summary: Unit is possessed! 2008-09-10
Comment: This unit works horribly. Since the moment that I have installed it, it turns its self on by its self and when ever it wants. If i leave the house, i can come back to find the fan working on full speed with the light on. I tried taking the battery out of the remote to see if that did anything, and it still would turn its self on. Sometimes it turns its self off too, or will start to dim the lights. I asked my neighbors if they had any remote systems, and none of them do. I am not sure what to do at this point, maybe invest in something else and see if that works.

Summary: Almost Perfect 2008-06-24
Comment: I have 2 of these, and have owned several other Hunter fan remotes. This one is a delight to use. A light touch of the left button is full bright. Full dim is the right. Pressure changes the level with either. The fan speed buttons are very easy to use. I love it!
The only caveat is that I had to take one back due to its "having a mind of its own" and turning the lights on randomly(as often as 3 times in a night). The replacement has worked perfectly, as has the one in my son's room. Nevertheless, I have encountered this problem with previous Hunter remotes, so I know it happens. If it does for you, don't hesitate to exchange it!

Comment: Maybe I just got lucky (or maybe satisfied customers usually do not bother to write a review), but this item works perfectly, including the fan control and light dimmer.
Since mounting the remote control on the wall looks silly, I would suggest using the existing wall switch for the light, until the fan is needed. Then leave the switch on and use the remote.
