Hunter 28496 Osprey 56-Inch 3-Blade Ceiling Fan, White

Bought this for our home as we disliked most of the elaborate wooden/brass colonial looking fans which are available. Has three speed settings, the fastest of which didn't shift quite as much air as I thought but certainly adequate. Be aware that it hangs at least a foot down from the ceiling on it's axle so I wouldn't recommend for a ceiling height much less than ours (9ft) It's a good deal at this price, although their customer support is poor (left a message for a call back after a 10 minute wait on the line and got no response)

I ordered two of these--one was obviously used and it was replaced with a fan that didn't work. The other fan (after the electrician tried to install it) was missing something and didn't work. I returned both. The electrician said this was an old-style install (whatever that meant) and this fan also does not work on slanted ceilings. I'm not impressed except for the fact that I could return them easily through Amazon and received full credit. Thank you for that!

We have a small company that had issues with heat going into our high ceilings. These have seemed to help alot when it comes to pushing the heat down.
