Comment: This fan is PERFECT in my son's baseball themed room! I absolutely love it and so does he. He is 10 so I was afraid it might be a little babyish but I was wrong. He thinks it's the "coolest" fan ever!

Comment: I bought this for my grandson's bedroom and he loves it. My daughter and I assembled and installed it. Some reviews complained about a scraping noise when the fan was used and dificulty assembling. We did not have those problems. The fan is shipped with little plastic blocks to stabilize the motor during shipping. I wonder if people didn't remove them before attaching the fan blades. Not removing them would cause both problems!
I was not happy with the pull chains as there were no extensions included so they are very short. Perhaps it is a how they get you to buy the baseball ones that are sold separately! So far that seems to be the only negative.

Comment: We just decorated the kid's bedroom in all baseball decor. This fan was the creme de la creme to the final touch. It is seriously adorable. My husband mounted it himself and initially thought something was wrong with the wiring because the light would not go on. I had read this in some of the other reviews too so I was worried that it was a fabrication fault with the fan. BUT, he realized that the wire connecting the pull chord to the fan mount to operate the light was disconnected. He is not sure if it came like that or if he accidentally did that, but he reconnected it and the light works fine. The whole assembly is awesome. Very happy.

Comment: This fan looks very good in my boys' room. Putting it together took little figuring out since instructions weren't very good. And, was little disappointed that it didn't come with pull chain extensions; need to find out if that's way it's suppose to be or my fan was just missing it. But overall, I like the way this fan looks and performs.

Comment: My fan didn't come from Amazon, it came from Lowes. I had just moved at the age of 8 into a new home and a new bedroom in 2002. My room had a low quality light and I wanted a ceiling fan. For years I always had an eye for the baseball fan as a young child, so it was my choice. My grandfather installed it and it was flawless. As any mischievous child, I tied action figures to the blades and watched them spin around and around. The fan took alot of abuse. Fast forward eight years. It's 2010 now, that fan still hangs above my room. Usually when it's on medium speed, it rattles and makes sound. It's dusty and worn, the pull chain doesn't always work, but it's still in good shape. It has served me eight long years and probably could serve eight more provided it isn't abused. I read other reviews that say this fan has errors. I believe it is user error in installation, maybe. All I can say is if you aren't sure you can do it, get a professional.
