i installed 2 sets on my 2 white, 52" hunter ceiling fans.. they let light shine through them and direct light out of the opening. these are for candelabra bulbs. i used the bulbbright 60 watt g-16 globe bulbs that are basically 2-1/4" round. they fit nicely with 1/2" from the sides.

I've used the replacement glass for dated ceiling fan lights and a kitchen chandelier. Both of which used to be polished brass (Uggg!! so 90's!). I've painted both a metallic oil-rubbed bronze and added these replacements. Everyone now thinks I got a completely new chandelier! It has really updated my kitchen.
