The fan looks great. Typical fan installation. The lighting is not very bright. we put it in the living room and the light is to low.

This ceiling fan is perfect with our country French decor. The lighting is low but very beautiful and I don't mind that since we have many lamps in our family living room. If you're looking for a fixture to light the room brightly this may not be the one for you. The fan is extremely quiet. This particular fan was a little difficult to install even for my electrical handyman husband, but we are enjoying it very much.

I love the look of this fan but upon close inspectioin people can tell that the edges of the blandes are not "pinstriped" where the tan line is. It is just rough wood/particle board to create the look that it was painted. Mine is up high enough that no one but myself will know. Looks great in my update pre-civil war parlor.
