Hunter HR20728 Five Minute Fan 50" Ceiling Fan Onyx Bengal with Light

I bought three of these fans at Lowes in 2011 and let them sit around my house in the boxes for months before I installed one. While the fan was as good as the usual fans on the market, the amount of light you get from the two tiny candelabra bulbs is poor. As long as you only expect mood lighting, it's fine. But if you actually need to see and don't have a better, brighter light in the room, this will disappoint you. I contacted Hunter customer service and was told that no other light kit was available that would fit this model fan. For better light, you probably want one of the four-bulb types that will take brighter bulbs. Also, there's no way anyone, even an experienced professional installer, can put one of these together and get it installed in five minutes. I've done lots of fans and this took me about an hour.
