Summary: Do not buy this product. 2010-03-21

Comment: I installed four of these fans in my house 3 years ago. The remote control receiver unit inside the fan has stopped working on two of the four units. Please search the internet becasue many others have had the same problem. It is not a frquency setting issue: it is an electronics issue with the control board. Hunter does not stand behind the design problem and will charge an excessive price for the replacement part. The part is also difficult to replace becasue the fan has to be removed from the ceiling to access the part.

Comment: It has a transitional design that will blend easily with a modern or traditional decor. The remote control that mounts on the wall plate has all the functions you would ever need like 3 speed, light and reverse flow. The 'no wabble' technology makes for a very smooth and solid function. This fan will spin at full speed and stay rock steady and makes this fan worth the price. You will be satisfied.

Comment: Very nice ceiling fan, everything what I was expecting. I like the contemporary design, functionality, remote control transmitter eliminates the cords that usually hang from the fan. Very quiet, and easy to install (3-4 hours).

Summary: Great fan - terrible light 2009-04-03

Comment: I'm very happy with the appearance and performance of this fan. However I completely agree with reviewers who find the light harsh - the light it gives off makes you feel like you're in Walmart and it is very dim. I end up just leaving the light off, but I wish I had a different fan or, better yet, that Hunter offered a better light option for people who want their lights to look like home, not a warehouse.

Comment: Since it is the winter time, I have not had the opportunity to use my fan, as of yet. But after installation, I tried it & was very disappointed with it's performance at a reasonable speed. It shakes too much when on med. or high. The installer tried to balance with weights that were provided, but this did'nt work. Not sure of what else to do.
