Hunter The Grand Isle 52-Inch 5-Blade Ceiling Fan

I like this fan a lot. The price was great so I can live with the fact that one of the blades was scratched (inside the factory sealed packaging) almost like it may have been sold as a second or irregular product. Quality is good. Assembly was easy - although the instructions did include supplemental information that caused me to have to unassemble what I had put together once I found the additional information. Read all the separate instructions before starting assembly.

I cannot recommend this product. One week after installation, it's a nightmare. The fan is constantly turning itself up to high speed and turns the lights on anytime it feels like including in the middle of the night (it's in my bedroom). Everyday I turn it off before leaving for work and come home to a fan on high speed with very bright lights. According to Hunter, the remote control is very sensitive to other electronic devices, I not sure I buy that excuse but that's their story and they are sticking to it. Unfortunately you cannot disconnect the remote system because it is built into this fan. The fan is quiet and I really like it otherwise but I prefer my fans to not have a mind of their own. Do a search on other consumer review website and you will find this is a problem for a lot of people who have Hunter remotes. Love this Fan!!!!!!!!! It matched perfectly with my bedroom furniture and I was delighted on how quiet it was and the easy installation. It really moves the air and works better than I expected. Highly recommend it. The Antique Pewter color looks very classy and goes well with my decor. I also priced this fan at other locations and Amazon.com was by far the better bargain. I purchased two other ceiling fans from Amazon and I can't express how happy I am with my purchases and the money I saved. Love Amazon.com!!!!
