You will not be disappointed. I've had this fan for over 2 years now and its still running perfectly.
Pros:
Powerful and quiet - even on high setting
Remote = Awesome, I added a second one to my theatre room and programmed my harmony one remote to work the fan = TIGHT!
Sturdy and stable
Cons:
Every command (entered from the buttons on the fan or the remote) results in loud beeps.
Lost my remote and had to buy a new one (only cost $5 from lasko website).
No usb port.

I've been using this fan for one year now, and it still looks and functions all new. Most importantly it has no disturbing sound what so ever, only a slight relaxing sound. I really think I got my money's worth.
Air is good but squeaks,

We've had this fan since the summer of 2010. I don't have any complaints about the airflow or power of this fan, but I do have to say that after several months of use it now squeaks when it oscillates. I find this very annoying and it means we can't use it in a bedroom. That's really my only complaint with this fan.
