Not a great buy,

Well made but pricey for being a two speed one direction fan.
I bought it ONLY because it fit the window. Three speed, directional
fans can be bought for less but wouldn't fit the window. Make sure you know you have to take it out and turn it around to make it change flow direction.

I ordered the fan to place in my kitchen/dining area to exhaust to the outdoors.
The fan does work-but is so noisy we had to stop using it. I made sure it was securely placed in the window opening but the growling/grinding noise made it usable.
I have had good luck with Lasko products in the past-but this has been a complete disappointment and a waste of time and money.

Another average run of the mill made in China window fan. Motors run fairly quiet and seem to run well. But, the slide out extensions are fairly flimsy and difficult to position. Also the power cord exits the bottom of the fan body and I feel that it would have been better placed utilizing a side exit. If I could have examined this fan in person, I would have probably chosen to shop for one that was made better. The fan is a decent overall purchase for the one half off sale price. I could not see paying the full retail price for the fan. You could surely purchase one of a better quality for that amount...
