Litex WC-100 Wall Command Control, Universal Ceiling Fan control, White

I purchased the Harbor Breeze branded remote from Lowes (same exact product). It seems that Litex makes Habor Breeze products for this Lowes only brand.

Two items come in the package; the in-wall mounted remote and the internal module which attaches to 2 or 3 wires to the ceiling fan (and stays inside the fan's base).

The wall remote is excellent quality. 3 gray buttons for fan speed, 1 light green glow in the dark round button for turning on/off the fan lights (note: hold round button for dimming), and 1 on\off switch which acts as a master power switch. A small round indicator light (red) illuminates when any of the 4 buttons are pressed.

The description states that the unit is a remote control but in reality it is nothing more than a remote fan switch as it needs to be wired to the fan to work.

What it does do is allow you to use your existing two wires to control the fan and light separately without having to run additional wires. There are other units out there that look very similar to this that are true remote control units (look for one that calls for a battery), I purchased one from CSN lighting.
