Meyda Tiffany offers beautiful glass products and this particular schoolhouse glass shade is a great deal. However, the shade does NOT fit in the 6" fitter as described under the product details. Returning this product was a huge headache and expensive. I was charged shipping costs and a 20 percent restock fee even though this product was not the correct advertised size. I feel like this item is partially a scam, and the merchant probably is aware that the product is defective and oversized. They were unresponsive to my return request until I filed a complaint with the better business bureau. It is a well known fact that the neck size of the shade should be 1/8" to 1/4" smaller than the fitter size advertised. Overall, I spent hours of my time dealing with this merchant only to receive $50 refunded of the $89 I spent on this item.
