A nice small fan which was fine for my narrow kitchen, but the Monte Carlo MC21BS-L Deco Medallion Bowl Light Kit, Brushed Steel Finish attached is a problem-to insert the candelabra bulbs and when they will need to be replaced is going to be a major hassle. It is also not cheap. Also the reviews on Amazon of the various CPL fluorescent bulbs to use instead are not good. They may use less electricity but are expensive and do not last as long as they should. Be very careful as to what you may attach to the fan.

I built a bunk bed for the kids and needed to replace the full sized ceiling fan with a mini so the kids would chop their heads off when getting in and out of the top bunk. After doing extensive research on the web settled on this one and couldn't be happier. The build quality appears good, it looks great, and it's very quiet. With regards to air flow, it does the job, but we use ceiling fans so we can keep the A/C set at a higher temp and still be comfortable. If the room were 90 degrees and this was the only cooling, then no it would not blow enough to make everyone in the room comfortable (it is a mini after all), but for our application it works great.

Disappointed in this fan. Slow speed is not so slow and there is a constant hum from the motor. Ran it for a couple months hoping it would "break" in. Still humming. Will be replacing soon.
