the picture on the advertisement for this product shows two transmitters. one hand held and one to be installed in the wall. this is missleading because you only get one transmitter that can be used either way!!! This should be stated on the advertisement!!!!!!!

This item works as designed. It is a remote control and receiver for a compatible fan.

My only issue with it is the packaging/description picture. It appears as if it contains two items - the wall unit *AND* the remote control, when in fact it is only one unit that can be used in *either* the wall *or* remote control.

So I had to pony up another $30 for an additional remote/transmitter to use as on the wall. not a problem.

This is exactly what I wanted and needed. I can tuck the remote into a drawer and I'm not a fan (no pun intended) of the wall control. Easily hooked up receiver to inside of the ceiling fan.
