I was disappointed in this fixture. It has one incandescent light. And there is space inside the globe for at least 3. The kit happens to include a 13W (60w equivalent) CFL. With such a big globe and small light bulb, the fixture is dark, and one side 'glows' much more brightly than the other, in stark contrast to the picture. For use in a kitchen (like I intended), it is WAY too dark. I returned it and got a fixture that had two lights.

But, on the plus side, the installation was super easy and straight forward. I am not sure what fan the above reviewer had to make the attachment not straight forward, but this light simply attaches to the fan through one central bolt. You have to take the bottom piece off of the fan and thread the power cords for the light and reattach, but the weight of the light is held up by the central bolt.

And, this light has a draw string so you can turn it on-off.

Bought this light kit for my outdoor porch fan. It looks good without being too intrusive in the small space. Porch is 5x12. Just enough light. Highly recommended!

I purchase this fan light kit for the Monte Crlo Fan. It suppiles adequate lighting and also satisfies my design esthetic.
