Powerful and very quiet. Most have a plastic adaptor that starts at around a 3" rectangle and attaches to the unit then opens to 4" round greatly reducing any stated output. Also where the plastic adaptor attaches is not airtight and has a perimeter air bypass, so the stated CFM is partially made up from above the ceiling. This outlet is a full 4" round metal,totally sealed and there is no plastic reduction so the CFM stated comes only from the bathroom. Quality.
If you watch the show Holmes on Homes whenever he does a bathroom look at the faceplate on the vents, they're Panasonic.

Purchased item and received somewhat timely when I went to replace old fan found that there were too many pipes in way so had to return it. I never went into the box or pulled out 1 part but the company wanted a 25% restocking fee, that is ridiculous.

This is a great product. Very quite almost silent. Wish I changed out my old fan years ago. Would highly recommend.
