All in all, this was a great solve for our vintage home with mid-century decor. Completely satisfied with the fan part--just a little wobbling but pretty solid, blades look nice from down below and we get enough air (though we don't usually need full power). Love the wall controls and we had an extra remote from a different ceiling fan that worked with it no problem. The color was fairly close to what i was expecting although the casing over the light was a little bit darker in color then I was thinking (was picturing an ivory color but it looks darker and textured kind of like parchment, which detracts from the modern aesthetic). The major bummer is that despite having two bulbs, it doesn't light the room up enough. The double 40 watt bulbs are notably darker than the one 100 watt bulb I previously had. Needless to say I'm on the hunt for a good reading lamp. :)
