This light does not come with a remote because it's an add on for the JB5571. Unfortunately all 6 (the original 3 I ordered and 3 replacements) lights that I received do not work at all with the existing system. Thank goodness for Amazon's excellent customer service. Stay away from this light.

I bought this light with the remote plus an add on light for my closet in November 2011. By December the batteries for both lights had been drained. 8 AA's! I think the main reason for this problem was the control switch was cheap and kept leaving the light on. I'm going to get another add on light, replace the batteries, and try again. If it only lasts a month like the last one did I'm just throwing the whole pile of crap away. Foo on you, sierra tools. I'm writing them a letter.
I'd like to write them a letter, but the company doesn't seem to have a website. When I get the light again, I'm definitely checking the box for a contact information like/email/snail mail address and voicing my ire.
