When I was looking for a desk fan, I was looking for something that would keep the air flowing so that it didn't feel stuffy, but also that was quiet, and would not make me look like I had been in a wind storm when I walked away from my desk. This is PERFECT for that! I usually keep it on the lower setting, but sometimes do move it to the higher setting if I am feeling overheated.

I am one of those people who is usually feeling overheated and I don't like when the air is not flowing, no matter what the temperature. This fan is quiet enough that I can be on the phone, listen to my radio and have a conversation without feeling like I have to speak over the fan.

Great product ... would order again.

I wanted some small fans to help ciculate air around my place. I didn't want huge fans to put here and there, just something small and powerful but QUIET to help move the air around.
These worked GREAT. I put one in my cabinet that houses my super-hot cable box and blu-ray player. Works awesome - the fan has 2 speeds, low and high, and on low - you can't hear it. Especially inside a cabinet. I've tried other fans in there and this one works the best so far. Fits right in there out of the way and quietly keeps things cool.
I have another on the floor helping to move air from room to room. On high, you can hear it, but I wouldn't classify it as "noisy".
I like the color, I like the folding aspect of it. I like that the base rotates. It's a very cool quiet small fan.

Update: After only a few weeks, the one I had running constantly to cool down the cable box, etc, has become louder. It still works, but now it's definitely noticable. I did get two -...Read more

Bought this to help keep the air in my tiny office moving around. It works great. The fan is small/quiet enough that it can sit right on my desk and not be disruptive.
