The Westinghouse Comet fan provides powerful cooling and air with its 52-inch, five-blade design. The blades are reversible, with one side being Light Maple and the other White, providing versatility in home decorating. Both sides coordinate handsomely with the fan's Brushed Pewter finish.

The fan includes a one-light lighting kit with a large central globe resting below the center of the fan, providing welcome light when necessary. The globe is made of opal glass.

52-inch fans are best suited for large rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms, great rooms, and large bedrooms. The fan is covered with a 25 year limited warranty.--Jeffrey Dalto

I ordered this fan about half a year ago into a new apartment. It's a wonderful model, and with a sleek contemporary design, it fits perfectly. I really love how it looks. It's compatible with a dimmer, I installed the fan using light wood color blades which look fantastic. It takes two bulbs, which is plenty. Ultra quiet. Very happy, no problems.

This is a pretty solid fan. it can be drop mounted or flush mounted, but it hums and vibrates a bit in flush mode. It is quiet in drop mode. I bought two of these and they both work fine. It does not look like a very "high-end" fan, but it is not priced like one, either.
