Quiet, Efficient Circulation for Rooms up to 144 Square Feet
The fan's 153-millimeter by 15-millimeter silicon steel motor with triple capacitor will quietly circulate air when you need it. Ideal for rooms up to 144 square feet (12 by 12 feet), this fan provides airflow at up to 4,305 cubic feet per minute (CFM). It is rated to operate at 57 watts at high speed (without lights), which gives it an airflow efficiency rating of 76 CFM per watt.
(As a comparison, 36-inch to 48-inch ceiling fans have airflow efficiencies ranging from approximately 71 to 86 CFM per watt at high speed.)

A set screw loose and dropped inside motor housing & a dent coupling cover is continued to ship to customers, By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) The new model 7861920 has no difference with the old model 7861965. The part number of this model is printed on the Westinghouse box as the common number 78619. The last two digits 65 or 20 are the same. However, its price is different. The old model is around the max $176, and the new model is exactly $193. The printed label of making this fan in 2009 is found on the Westinghouse box. When I removed the fan out of the box, I heard an impacted sound of a screw hitting its motor housing. I had to spend 30 minutes to remove this set screw (screw and lock washer) by using the mechanical pick-up tool. If customers do not have this tool, they have to open motor housing. This step may expose the danger to customers. Next, I found a dent on its coupling cover. All problems are careless from Westinghouse assemblers and this company does have a QC employee to inspect before shipping out to Amazon. I love the yellow toned globe, it cuts off the harshness a light can give. Over all I would say its great. It was easy to install and it looks amazing! It was just what I was looking for. The price was just right as well. Cons: Amazon took forever to ship it. However I ordered 5 units for a patio and three of them cam with a broken glass fixture. Amazon was great to work with and prompt and handling the issue. I did contact the manufacture were I got a quick response. However the manufacture response was they couldn't help me as they do not have replacement fixtures for this fan.
What is interesting is the first set of fans were shipped UPS and 3 had broken glass. The replacements that amazon sent quickly via fed ex arrived intact. Anyways I did like the fans, and loved amazons service, just check the glass before assembly and if broken ask for a replacement right away. |
