The Contempra IV provides powerful cooling and air with its 52-inch, five-blade design. The blades are reversible, with one side being white and the other white washed pine, providing versatility in home decorating. Both sides coordinate handsomely with the fan's antique white finish.
The fan includes a four-light lighting kit with the four globes resting below and at the center of the fan in a square pattern, providing welcome light when necessary. The globes are made of frosted ribbed glass.

This fan features a 153-millimeter by 15-millimeter cold-rolled steel motor with triple capacitor that will quietly circulate air whenever you need it. Designed for rooms up to 360 square feet (18 by 20 feet), the Contempra IV has a hugger mount that makes it ideal for installation in rooms with low ceilings.
Classic Design with Reversible Blades
With frosted ribbed-glass shades and a white finish, this fan will add classic elegance to any room in your home. For versatility, the fan's blades are reversible: turn them white or white washed pine side down to match your decor.
The light fixture requires four candelabra-base torpedo or G16 1/2 light bulbs for operation (60-watt maximum; light bulbs not included).

We like the look, the cost and how it works (very quiet and stable, also flush mountable). you get the best bang of your money. A month ago, we bought another one from Amazon.com. In the product description it states using "standard-base light bulbs". After opening the package, we found that it uses candelabra based light bulbs. For this, we returned it to Amazon.com because we'd like to use more generic products for easy light bulb replacement.
After talking to several sales persons and electricians at local Home Depot stores, I found all new ceiling fans have changed light bulbs to either candelabra base or Intermediate base (or E-17 Intermediate) in recent years in order to bypass an energy saving requirement imposed on Standard Medium Base light bulbs.
